There are heroes among us. They go about their lives without seeking recognition, but we all feel the effects of their hard work and dedication. It’s the single mom juggling an endless to-do list, the first responder who bravely answers a call at a moment’s notice, and the small business owner who keeps the doors open and the lights on, even when things get tough.
These unsung heroes deserve their moment in the spotlight and to have their incredible deeds rewarded, and Pinalen Luxury Scents is excited to announce a new opportunity to honor them. Pinalen Luxury Scents is all about creating a little bit of luxury in the everyday experience – it doesn’t need to be expensive or exclusive to feel opulent. We believe that every hero deserves a moment of respite, to relax and care for themselves, and to set aside the hustle and enjoy a little bit of pampering in their lives.
Today, we’re announcing a contest designed for everyday heroes who inspire us all, with two lucky winners receiving $1,000 to spend on self-care essentials and add a touch of luxury to their routines.
What We’re Looking For
If you or someone you know fits the bill, just tell us why the nominee deserves a day of luxury. Tell us about the challenges of your day-to-day life, what fuels you each and every day, and give us a glimpse into your self-care habits. What are your favorite forms of self-care? A soothing bath, a peaceful walk in nature, or maybe a warm conversation with loved ones? Tell us how a day of indulgence would make a difference in your life.
A brief video highlighting their story should accompany each nomination, giving us a glimpse into your everyday routine. For self-nominations, show us a day in the life! We want to get to know you – from work to home and in between. And if you’re nominating a friend or family member, tell us a little bit about them. Selfie-style works great or you can compile clips of your nominee in action if they’re comfortable with it.
For an extra boost to your application, share your video on Instagram and tag us (@pinalen.us)! We’ll feature our favorites on AlEn’s social media channels because we believe that your stories deserve to be seen by one and all, inspiring others to take time out for themselves.
Why This Contest Matters
We know the everyday grind can wear you down, leaving precious little “me” time. This is more than just a chance to win a prize — we want to encourage everyone to pause and reflect on the extraordinary efforts of those who put others before themselves. It’s these people who make our lives better without asking for anything in return, and it’s time to celebrate them.
Our aim is to gather stories that capture what it means to be an everyday hero. We want to hear about the moments of your life that define you, the acts of selflessness that you witness or perform, and of course the personal routines that keep you going, even when there aren’t enough hours in the day. Your story will inspire others to recognize the vital importance of self-care, and could earn you an opportunity to treat yourself with the same generosity that you treat others.
